PAONIA PARKS/RECREATON PLAN
Challenge: Develop a series of hybrid sketches that depict various enhancements to existing city parks and riverfront areas, including new bridges, trails, park improvements and signage.
Solution: Jim Leggitt created the series of “before and after” sketches from photographs using an iPad with Procreate software. All of the drawings were created during an on-site design charrette in which the general public could offer valuable feedback and ideas throughout the multi-day workshop. The drawings are “hybrid” visualizations that merge actual photography and hand drawing in a composite image to give the sketch a more realistic character.
