I love drawing and sharing what I’ve learned with everyone!

I took my first drawing lesson on TV when I was five years old from the 1950’s television program called “Learn to Draw” by John Gnagy.  Every Saturday, I set up my Learn to Draw kit in front of the black-and-white screen—and then fought with my twin brother over who got to trace the televised drawings with pencils.  This cutting-edge combination of technology and hand drawing was a great idea.  I also watched another televised program called Winky Dink and Me, which involved drawing on a clear vinyl sheet placed directly onto the television’s glass screen.  It was America’s first interactive television show!

Sixty years later, I'm still working with new technology to create drawings, and I'm still having just as much fun. Sometimes I draw and paint for pure pleasure the way I did when I was five, although most of my art projects today are digitally created with my iPAD using an Apple Pencil and Procreate software.

I also understand the importance of sharing what I’ve learned with others by offering seminars about design visualization, teaching drawing workshops, and authoring multiple books on the subject of art and drawing.
