IDAHO SPRINGS DOWNTOWN
Challenge: Create a series of “before and after” sketches of various downtown street, park, and building improvements during a two-day onsite community planning charrette.
Solution: Jim Leggitt took reference photographs throughout the downtown study area and create more than a dozen colored sketches using an iPad to create the hybrid illustrations. He imported the photos into the iPad and sketched directly over the images with digital linework and color. The overall visuals were very quick to produce and effective when printed and mounted side-by-side with the original photographs.
