GLENWOOD SPRINGS COOPER AVE

Challenge: Jim Leggitt was asked to develop three different SketchUp models for streetscape improvements to Cooper Avenue in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He was then commissioned to illustrate each view in a “hand drawn” illustrative style to convey the early conceptual phase of the streetscape design process.

Solution: Jim Leggitt constructed a 3D SketchUp model of the Cooper Avenue streetscape using actual building facade photographs to maintain an accurate portrayal of the street. Jim then exported high resolution images from the computer model and created three digital illustrations on an iPad using Procreate software.
